Our annual fundraising event will take place on Thursday, July 18, 2019, and we are excited to expand on last year’s event to make it even bigger and better! As a family-friendly event, children sixteen and under will receive free admission again this year. We hope to not only bring awareness to the Zoo but celebrate West Duluth as a whole. As we close in our centennial anniversary, this year is truly a pivotal time for the Lake Superior Zoo. We are working tirelessly to open several new exhibits including the much-awaited Bear Country. We are also re-opening the habitats located on the West side of Kingsbury Creek and bringing a few favorite animals back to Duluth. With all of these projects slated to be completed by early fall of 2019, we are excited to bring a revitalized zoo experience to a new generation of community members!
