156th Street Elementary School strives to have every student meet grade level standards in all core subjects with self-discipline, positive self-esteem, and the skills necessary to achieve one's potential in all facets of life.  We are a TK - 6th BSAP (Black Student Achievement Plan) and Title 1 Los Angeles Unified School that has strives for academic success.  We promote healthy life choices that lead to overall success and well being.  Our diverse student population is filled with amazing students and families that value a quality education and have high standards.  We recognize the potential in all of our students, and encourage our learners to be curious in all of their educational experiences.

We hope to bring as many community resources to our school community to further enhance the education they are receiving.  Through enrichment, intervention, and focused instruction, our student population benefits from the amazing staff here at 156th Street.
