Through our partnership with local community leaders, we engage in communities around the world, creating or strengthening resources so that vulnerable children can thrive. We see a world where children thrive in their own community and grow to impact future generations.
We seek to end the cycle of street life in children and young adults and to change the perception of them by the communities they live in. The programs we operate help break the cycle of street life by educating and helping with small business ideas for street-connected youth. We are also invested in educating community leaders/teachers/first responders on the effects of childhood trauma from street life and how to better interact with street-connected youth whether on or recently moved off the streets to help curb community violence. Many of the youth we work with have faced discrimination when attempting to return to educational settings. It is our goal to help remove those obstacles so that they can have equal access to life-changing education.
We offer our programs to children, their families, and communities simply for the love of doing so and a calling on our lives. No child will ever be denied services based on their race, religion, tribe, sex, or for any other reason. Often our programs are a safe haven for the discrimination that they’ve faced. Our focus will always be on keeping children in their communities, and when possible, back with their families. We believe every community to be capable of rising to the challenge of shaping their future.
