In May of 1998, the San Diego District Attorney Investigator’s Association (SDDAIA) established a FALLEN OFFICERS FUND (FOF). The fund was created for the purpose of rendering financial assistance to any active San Diego or Imperial County Law Enforcement Officer in times of crisis. This fund assists local, state and federal officers or their immediate family member who is in need of financial assistance as a result of death, injury or any other event in which financial assistance would not otherwise be immediately available.
