Mission
Win Place Home, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization which offers former racehorses a good home where their transition will be smooth and calm, giving them a confident trust to move forward in life. We have created a place of rescue to rehabilitate and retrain these thoroughbreds leading to active careers.
Service
We accept retired racehorses off of the track, rehabilitate and retrain them in a new discipline. We then adopt them into new homes in said discipline where they will continue to prosper.
Description of Fundraiser
This fundraiser will help support the care and feed of our current horses in training.
We are holding a silent auction in our barn along with the horses that are in our program.
Drinks and appetizers will be served.
I am the assistant to the founder of Win Place Home, Inc., a local 501(c)(3) non-profit. We are currently seeking donations of items and services for our silent auction in support of our mission to rescue retired racehorses. All proceeds from the auction will be used to retrain former racehorses in a new discipline and then find them permanent homes where they can prosper. We rely on the kindness and support of donors like you to carry out our work in providing these horses with long, happy lives after their racing days have ended.
Thanks to the generosity of businesses like yours we were able to raise over $11,000 last year. We’re aiming even higher this year. Our goal is to raise at least $15,000 to help feed and care for the horses we are retraining.
In return for your support, your business will be featured on our social media and our website, as well as a full page info sheet that will be included with the item or service you donate. And your donations are 100% tax deductible.
The Third Annual Win Place Home Silent Auction and Gala will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Birtwick Park Equestrian Center in Canyon Country.
