Johnnycake is a community school mobilizing students, families, educators, and communiy members to develop a grassroot vision for the school and community to work together to acheive our vision. (569 STUDENTS) We provide a clothes pantry that includes shoes, pampers, baby clothing and coats. We also provide Food Distribution for families in the community and the Baltimore Hunger Project-a weekend food pack program that is designed to provide non-perishable food bags for children that would benefit from nutritional supplement over the weekend.
Johnycake Elmentary School Mission: At Johnnycake we empower all students to achieve their potential, becoming lifelong learners and compassionate, respectful citizens who contribute to positive change within their local communty and global society.
