At A Chance To Grow (ACTG) we serve a wide range of people who face major challenges -- children with cerebral palsy, with ADD or autism, youth injured by contact sports, adults experiencing trauma, toddlers experiencing ACEs, grade school children struggling to learn. What do these people have in common?  All have had their brain function compromised by illness, injury, trauma, or inadequate development.

These are our people.  To varying degrees, they are struggling with communicating, with academic work, with daily tasks, with emotional regulation.  Their families struggle too, as theyt seek out treatments that will give their loved one the best possible chance at a full lifle.  Too often they have run the gamut of doctors, special schools, therapists and specialisllts, to no avail.

ACTG has answers for them.  To help them reach their highest potential,  we have developed a unique, comprehensive,  customizable array of interventions aimed at helping those with impaired neurological function, regardless of it's origin.  We have also developed proactive interventions that build the strong neural pathways critical to learning, so that every child is ready to learn when they start school.

Our services are offered in our clinics, in schools across the Twin Cities and across the state, and in homes.  We want everyone who needs our life-changing services to get them, including those who need them the most.  This includes families with substantial risk factors for developing brain function issues and who have equally substantial barriers to help -- appropriate health care interventions, effective education, lack of child care and transportation, and other needs.

Our mission is to promote the maximum development of the whole person througoh innovative, individualized, and comprehensive. brain-centered programs that are affordable, accessible, and sustainable.

Our services include an array of clinical therapies, including occupational and speech/language therapy, developmental hearing and vision treatment, and our signature Neuro Integrative clinic.  We also provide intensive teacher training to bring our brain-based approach into K-3, Preschool, and family child care settings.  Our Turnquist Child Enrichment Center is a NAECY approved 4 star parent aware center, serves at-risk children, teen parents, and serves as a laboratory for developing approaches to enhancing young learners' school readiness. Our Home Based Services provide PCA, respite and other services to the severely. disabled.
