My name is Kallie Horner and I’m the Development Coordinator for A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter in Naperville, IL. We are a private, nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter that provides medical services and everyday care to homeless animals while they wait for their forever homes.
Since 1989, A.D.O.P.T. has placed over 30,000 animals into loving homes. In addition to an onsite shelter and network of private foster homes, we have a low-cost training center and veterinary clinic. Open to the public, the clinic serves the community, other rescue groups and animals in our care. The recent expansion of services offered enables us to help more animals than ever before.
We also offer temporary crisis foster-care to owners who are unable to care for their pet due to hospitalization, foreclosure, domestic violence, or another personal crisis. We work with each pet owner to provide a safe, temporary home for their animals.
