A Need We Feed started on Oct 29, 2012 when Hurrican Sandy devasted many home and businesses along the NJ shoreline.

Over the last 10 years we have grown from a basic foundational organization to a registered 501(c) 3non profit organization that that prepares, packages and delivers over 11000 hot meals a year to veterans, and familuies in need.   

A Need We Feed jumped into an even stronger effort when the pandemic hit the Jersey Shore spring 2020.  On top of our business as usual a rise in demand quadrupled to feed members of our community compounded with a desire to suppport our  local resturant partners.  Our requests jumped from 200 meals a week to over 800 meals a week.
