We create a worlf of yes for medically fragile children and we won't quit! A Rosie Place for Children (ARP) is a state-of-the-art respite facility designed for children living with medical and physical barriers ages birth to 21 years and is a place of belonging that is safe and nurturing. Simply put, a child who is medically fragile requires medical intervention (ventilators, feeding tubes, respiratory treatments) for everyday living. They typically suffer from a variety of serious medical and physical conditions, including paralysis that require round-the-clock care by their parent(s). ARP offers these caregivers’ periods of relief by providing overnight skilled respite healthcare for their child(ren). This is an extremely underserved population of children and families, with a variety of acute medical and physical complexities, which is why A Rosie Place for Children was created and opened its doors in 2011. We currently remain the only facility in the state of Indiana providing respite services to children.
