A Stepping Stone Foundation (ASSF) provides Tuition-free, comprehensive education programs for at-risk children and their parents, including preschool, home visiting, parental education classes, plus scholarships and internships for former preschool participants.
ASSF has transformed lives of thousands in Phoenix through quality two-generation education. It creates success for our preschoolers and families of limited opportunities through our hallmark tuition-free program LEAF (Literacy Elevates Arizona Families), which is a comprehensive education program for at-risk preschool children and their families. Founded in 1989, ASSF created this preschool model requiring a high level of parental participation to prepare the entire family for educational success.
