The mission of Ability Connection is to enrich the lives of people with disabilities.... one person at a time. Our approach: We believe a disability is a naturally occurring part of life, not a defining characteristic. Our core values of Compassion, Respect and Results drive us to provide high quality services and support regardless of the severity of the life impact of the disability. Also through our "one person" focus, we learn what the person along with their family needs and values for a purposeful life. At Ability Connection we strive to be the foremost resource for people with disabilities and the families who love them.
This is our 70th year serving Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and we look forward to what the next 70 will bring. Our services include residential housing, therapy and case management oversight, life skills training center, family support including respite programming.
We are a leader in IDD disability support throughout Texas. Families need a place to turn and a person who can help them anytime, day or night adn we do our absolute best to fill this need for each family and each member.
