The Acacia Elementary School Foundation is an organization whose sole purpose is to provide educational enrichment to the students of Acacia Elementary School, a public school in Fullerton, CA. There are approximately 700 students enrolled for the school year in grades K-6.
As you are well aware, California is still in the midst of an economic shortfall, and as a result, education programs have experienced tremendous cuts. The Acacia Elementary School Foundation’s goals center on raising money in order to provide needed and valuable resources for Acacia’s students. These resources include meeting the Fullerton School District’s goal of providing 21st Century Learning by placing technology in the hands of students for the purposes of enhancing learning in the classrooms (such as laptops, iPads, iTouches, interactive white boards, and more). In addition, we hope to continue funding the physical education (PE) program, and to provide opportunities for field trips and other enriching experiences historically funded by the school district.
