Acres of Diamonds provides homeless moms and kids non-traditional, community-based transitional housing. Homeless families experience generations of poverty, abuse, domestic violence, and addiction. It is our mission to help break the cycle of homelessness in the lives of moms and their children by helping to provide solutions that are both holistic and long-term to tackle these underlying problems.
The mission is to create lasting change for homeless moms and kids through a caring community. Women find their way to Acres because they have successfully finished rehab and want to start a new life; or are fleeing from a dangerous domestic violence situation and need safety for themselves and their children.
