The Action Scholarship Fund began during the pandemic in an urgent effort to provide a structured, meaningful growth opportunity for kids who are missing big chunks of their education. Teachers in schools are overwhelmed. Parents want help. They don’t have the time, flexibility or means to provide everything their children need to make up for years of pivoting. The activities and sports they relied on disappeared or went out of business.
Our community/nation/world is facing children and teens who are physically out of shape, mentally drained, attention deprived, socially awkward and they don’t know what to do and turn to unprecedented hours of screen time or getting into trouble. While we are actively giving city kids access to high quality martial arts while building confidence, focus and fitness, we need your help to make our efforts go even further!
You can help us injection of positivity that will help pull kids out of the rut that leads to boredom, rebellion, anger and violence. Your support is crucial to our efforts to keep kids in a positive environment even when their parents are struggling to pay the bills.
