Re: 13th Annual ARC Golf Tournament
Dear Friend of the Addiction Referral Center,
Please help us celebrate our 50th year of service by supporting this vital fundraiser! The ARC was founded in 1972 when a small group of recovering alcoholics created a supportive environment that worked for them in their pursuit of sobriety. What began as a drop-in center has evolved into an outstanding non-profit agency that provides extensive services to the community at large, as well as to addicted people and their families. One of the region's most well respected, organized, and active locations for recovery services, the ARC provides referrals, recovery coaching and peer-support meetings 7 days a week.
Over the past 50 years, the ARC has remained an important part of the recovery community. Multiple generations of families have received help and hope through the ARC services. Here at the Addiction Referral Center (ARC); we see the need for our services increasing due to the pandemic, with the instability and isolation of these recent years significantly affecting those with substance use disorder. We are eager to help as many residents in the Metrowest community as possible and we can’t do it without your help.
Our goal is to help disrupt the cycle of addiction and provide services, support, and hope to individuals and families in our community. As a 501(c)(3) charity; the ARC operates purely on grants and donations. Our major fundraising initiatives in 2020 and 2021 were either cancelled or downsized and our goal is to make up some of the ground we lost so that we can continue to offer services at the same level that we have been known to provide.
We are proud to be holding our 13th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Friday, August 19, 2022. This event includes over 150 attendees, and your sponsorship or raffle gift donation is a great way to promote your business and to help the ARC. Sponsorships are recognized in several ways including a Tee Sign displayed on the course. All raffle donors are recognized on table signs at our awards banquet.
