Adoption First Animal Rescue saves dogs from euthanasia from overcrowded shelters in Eastern North Carolina. We take in the abused, hurt, discarded, sick, injured, senior, and hoarding cases. Adoption First Animal Rescue, gives dogs a second chance at life, to know what love it, and to be treated with kindness. We have a wonderful team full of volunteers that love dogs and awesome fosters that allow dog to decompress, let their personalities shine, and get and test them to see if they are good with children, cats, and other dogs to ensure the best forever home! We just built our own surgical suite to do spay and neuters in house, and we just opened a low cost spay and neuter and vet clinic for the public, so everyone can afford it.
