For over 40 years, Advocates for Children of New Jersey (ACNJ) has been the independent, trusted voice for children in New Jersey. ACNJ’s vision is that every child in New Jersey has the chance to grow up safe, healthy, and educated, able to reach his or her full potential. Our mission is to advocate for better, more equitable policies and programs for children on the local, state, and national levels. We conduct research, collect and analyze data and communicate effectively on the challenges facing NJ children in order to educate policymakers, empower stakeholders and engage the public to advocate on behalf of children. ACNJ has the resources and human capital to lead on several critical issues simultaneously. This is done in collaboration with our many partners across the state.
