his letter is written on behalf of Advocates for Homeless & Those in Need (AHTN) a non-profit that serves the homeless and those in need, by providing year-long access to emergency shelter, food & other life sustaining services.
As of December 1st, AHTN will begin our 10th Code Blue Season. With the support of local churches and volunteers, AHTN offers a safe place for someone in need to sleep during the cold winter months. Each night, our guests are provided transportation to the shelter, a warm meal, a cot with bedding and any other necessities that they may need such as a winter coat, boots, dry socks, first-aid, etc. In addition, families with children are a priority and we work closely with local resources to provide a safe environment for them. None of this can be made possible without donations from our local community.
In addition to the Code Blue program we also run Wheels to Meals which provides a hot meal every day to anyone in need. And, the Rejuvenation Station which provides showers, haircuts and clean clothing.
For our 2018 fundraising season, AHTN’s Marketing & PR Committee have organized several events to help raise money for our donation needs. The monies raised will help us fund such things like gas and maintenance of our buses, warm clothing, bedding for the shelter etc. We are asking local businesses for their support by donating a gift certificate or item to be raffled off at one of our upcoming events. Currently we are looking for donations for our August 14th event at Jo-Jo’s Ice Cream in Levittown.

You will find our tax ID number at the bottom of this letter. We will recognize your business on our social media site and our website.
