Camp Shield provides assistance and programming that are specific to the needs of women veterans and their families, with a mission focused on empowering the women Veteran and building emotional strength, social unity, and physical perseverance.
Camp Shield’s vision is to reduce the risk of women Veteran’s homelessness, depression, and suicide by providing a secure and comfortable environment for women Veterans and their children to heal and grow. To achieve our vision, we provide a series of SHE Thrives workshops, mastermind book clubs, peer-to-peer support groups and retreats. These programs address women Veteran’s needs, concentrating on personal growth and resilience building, to ensure success and productivity in their communities.
