The Aidan Inteso Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarship funding and opportunities to empower children, teens, and young adults to "be better". The Foundation has provided over $120,000 in educational support with 100% of all funds raised used to support the mission. Some highlights include: the Memorial Endowed Scholarship at Ursinus College, 5 TRHS East Senior Education Scholarships, 4 TR Blackhawks Education Scholarships, 10 TRSE Hockey "Backcheck" Scholarships, support for the TRHS East Raider Pantry and the TRHS East Ambassador Club!
Aidan Michael Inteso, 18, of Toms River, NJ, was just beginning a journey filled with limitless potential when he passed away suddenly in 2020 from undiagnosed myocarditis. Aidan was a first-year student at Ursinus College in Collegville PA, where he was the recipient of both the Abele Scholars and the Gateway Academic scholarhips. During his high school hockey career, Aidan was a 4-year varsity defenseman and Captain of the team. His love of hockey was only surpassed by his love of family, friends, academics, and the outdoors. Aidan lived a life of passion and pride, motivated by the question: "How are you better today than you were yesterday?"
