Alamo Mission Chapter continues to strive to serve its mission of bolstering community pride, inspiring individual achievement, and encouraging the appreciation of Texas History. We continue the perservation of history through our annual Honor Days: March 2nd -Texas Independence Day, March 6th -Alamo Heroes Day, and April's Fiesta Event the Pilgrimaage to the Alamo honoring the Republic of Texas Veterans. Along with the perservation of history through our events commemoraing Texas honor days, we foster the education of our youth through our Texas History essay contests, our college scholarships, awarded to exemplary students in Bexar County and our traveling history trunk which visits elementary schools.
