ALCA is a registered 501(C)(3) not-for-profit, full-day, year-round Illinois State Board of Education-approved Therapeutic Day School. We serve children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, and intellectual disabilities. Currently, we serve children ages 3 through 22 from 27 school districts. We provide an environment where children on the autism spectrum can develop to their full potential academically, emotionally, socially, communicatively, and physically. It is our belief that addressing these characteristics through a child-centered team approach following a therapeutic, holistic, interdisciplinary model – with an emphasis on generalization of skills to home and the community – provides the best path for success.
