We believe that all children should live a normal a life as possible. Our closet give away new/gently worn coats to families with children infant to high school age. We do not descriminate and give to families regardless of their race, culture, background or financial statis, a need is a need. The coats not only keep them warm but more importantly instill in them that they are just as important as a child with a coat. Children are not who they are now, but who they will become in the future.
Children who have breathing problems such as asthma and upper respitory can easily get sick due to now having a warm coat. This not only magnifies the illness but put stress on the parent(s) who can't afford a coat. When a child is warm they can focus on learning and not focus on trying to get warm. Our coats are of good quality and given away free.
