The mission of Alliance For Children is to protect Tarrant County children from child abuse through teamed investigations, healing services, and community education. Alliance For Children is the children’s advocacy center serving all of Tarrant County. Since 1992, over 65,000 children have benefited from Alliance For Children's teamed investigations and coordinated approach. Alliance For Children is a nonprofit organization that operates child-friendly centers located in Arlington, Fort Worth, and Hurst.

Alliance For Children works in tandem with 35 jurisdictions of local law enforcement, Cook Children’s Health Care System, JPS Health Network, Texas Health Resources, the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), Tarrant County Juvenile Services, and the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, to provide free topnotch, evidence-based, trauma-informed programs and services to our clients.

Alliance For Children’s core programs and services include multidisciplinary team coordination, the review of incoming reports of suspected child abuse from the community that begins the investigative and collaborative process amongst Alliance For Children staff and partners; forensic interviewing, the investigative interview of children suspected to be victims of any type of abuse; family advocacy, case management services for any family needing support and access to community resources, Crime Victims Compensation, and court accompaniment; and counseling, evidence-based individual clinical treatment for children who have experienced trauma, as well as a 16-20 week group counseling program for child victims of sexual abuse and non-offending caregivers which gives victims hope to become survivors. Our community educators combat the pervasiveness of child abuse in Tarrant County through evidenced-based education programs, which empower adults and children alike to put an end to the cycle of abuse.
