The mission of the Alliance Française is to encourage the study of French cultures and language and to foster cultural, intellectual, artistic and friendly exchanges between the French speaking world and our local community.
The Alliance Francaise is a service organization providing language classes at all levels, a library and a clearinghouse of current information of forthcoming events concerning French cultures such as movies, conferences, exhibitions or lectures.
It is a place where French people, francophones and francophiles can meet and get to know one another. The Alliance Française de Philadelphie has policies and practices of non discrimination relating to race, creed, color, religion, national originm ancestry, marital status, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, physical disability, veteran status, or political service or affiliation.
