The Alpha Phi Foundation supports Alpha Phi Fraternity, its members and the communities in which they reside in their pursuit of advancing women's lives now and into the future through 5 vital programs. These programs are as follows Leadership, Scholarship, Heritage, Women's Heart Health, & Forget Me Not Grants. The leadership and scholarship programs provide young women with opportunities to advance their leadership skills and education through a variety of programs and scholarships that are awarded annually. Heritage focuses on the collection, preservation and sharing of the rich history of our organization that was founded in 1872. Women's Heart Health, the main focus of our philanthropic efforts, with the help of all of the international chapters of Alpha Phi is able to provide annual grants of $100,000 to different programs focusing on the advancements into researching women's heart health. And finally, the program that means the most to me is the Forget Me Not grant, this grant is awarded to women who are need of extra financial support. This one hits closer to home because we have had a member of our organization recieve this grant in order to help relieve some cancer treatment bills.
