Our 3 Mission Pillars are: Local care services, advocacy and research. The money we raise goes to the local families effected by ALS. We have a completely free loaner closet of medical equipment such as scooters, ramps, wheelchairs, breathing machines and much more to help ALS patient's live their lives to the fullest as long as these are needed. Free care services specific to the patients needs. Free in-home visits with patients and their caregivers with professional staff. The in-home visits are designed to come up with strategies for more independent living and dignity. Two or more support groups per month for the entire family with quest speakers and a seperate group meeting for the caregivers. 95% of the time the caregiver is a spouse or family member. These critical meetings prepare the patients and families for how their life will change and what lays ahead. Thank you.
