Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are the Parent Teacher Association of Alta Loma Elementary School.

A non-profit organization that is run on memberships and tax deductible donations. We sponsor many programs for all of our students and this year is no exception. Examples of events include:

           1. Family Fun Nights: We host themed family functions for our students and their families in hopes of creating a strong sense of community. At the moment, we do have plans to host a Bingo Night held tentatively on January 20, 2023. Our families can look forward to an evening of Bingo and numerous opportunities to win prize baskets.

           2. Jog-a-Thon: With hopes of resuming normal in class instruction, we are planning to host our biggest annual fundraiser in the Spring of 2023. This event at our school promotes fitness and healthy living.

           3. Book Fairs: We are working to help support the literacy of our students by hosting our popular book fairs in a virtual capacity. This allows us to obtain books for the school library, classrooms and students.

           4. Holiday Activities: We host two major holiday give backs. A Thanksgiving Baskets food drive to help families in our community who may be in need of groceries. We also have a Sugar Plum Tree gift collection in hopes of spreading some cheer to children of families in need during the holiday season. Both of these traditions will continue.

           5. Choral Program: We are thankful students will have the opportunity to develop music appreciation this year through the teachings of various musical genres.

           6. Staff Appreciation Week: We will be hosting a Staff Appreciation Week in May 2023 to show our gratitude for all the hardworking staff at Alta Loma Elementary School and all they have done for our students during this difficult time.

           7. Chieftain Positivity Reinforcement: The ever-changing school atmosphere we are faced with calls for a readiness to adapt and evolve. We will be exploring ways to promote positivity for all of our students and will rely heavily on donations this year to make that happen.

We are hoping to obtain assistance from our wonderful community businesses through packaged food and product donations or gift certificates in order to continue running the programs that are listed above. We appreciate every donation big or small especially during these difficult times. Your kindness definitely does not go unnoticed. Lastly, any donations provided are of course tax deductible.
