Altrusa International of Greenville, Inc. promotes community service through volunteer activities and financial support, and provides leadership development for all club members.
Altrusa is an international organization that serves communities throughout the world. Our local club supports many projects with our focus being on literacy and children’s programs. One of our annual projects is Reading Rodeo; a local school is selected and each student is given at least one book to take home after being read to them by a community volunteer. Other projects include Child Protective Services backpacks with hygiene and necessities for children removed from their homes with little to no personal items.
