The American Cancer Society offers programs and services to help patients during and after Cancer treatment such as :provide lodging during cancer treatments (Hope Lodge facilities where they stay for free), provide rides to those who cannot make it to treatments (Road to Recovery; we have support and online communities and we also have products for hair loss and mastectomy. We are asking all Community Members, Business Owners (small and large) and friends of American Cancer Society to support in any way you can (donations, goods or services). The Pandemic has made a devastating impact on fundraising and because of that, the budget for this year’s Relay is very small. To make the event as meaningful, fun and the event of the year, we need your help!
Chances are you have personally been impacted by cancer, whether you know one of the 16.9 million Americans living after a diagnosis or have memories of someone special in your life who is no longer fighting the fight. More cancer survivors are living long after their diagnoses because of research and early detection. This annual event is treasured as a celebration for those who have survived, an inspiration for those recently diagnosed, and gathering of support for families.
Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to a world with less cancer and more birthdays and where no more lives are lost to the disease. We hope that you will want to join us in the opportunity to build hope for a future where cancer no longer threatens the lives of the people we love.
