The Connecticut American Red Cross collects over one hundred thousand units of blood that help save up to 300,000 thousand lives through life saving blood products. We rely totally on volunteer donors to collect those life saving units. In Connecticut, we run almost 4,600 blood drives. As with the volunteer donors we also rely on sponsors to host the blood drives.
