The AMI Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to enhancing the level of healthcare for central and southern New Jersey residents by collaborating with local community groups to support programs that address critical health needs. The Foundation partnered with the South Jersey Cancer Fund to provide free PET/CT exams to patients with no insurance. Throughout the month of October, free 3D screening mammograms are given to women 40+ years old that have no insurance. In 2004 the Foundation formed the William J. Reilly Coronary CTA Fund. This fund provides free or low-cost Coronary CTA exams to patients at risk for heart disease, as well as free low dose CT lung screenings for high-risk patients.
In addition, we provide much needed supplies to people in central and southern New Jersey. Our annual Tools for Schools Drive has delivered over 3,300 book bags filled with school supplies to help less advantaged children prepare for their school year. We have supported our local Police and Firefighters, Gilda's Club, the Arc of Atlantic County, the Alcove Center, the Ruth Newman Shapiro Cancer Center and Heart Fund, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Community Food Bank, The M.A.P.S. Foundation, F.A.C.E.S., Toys for Tots and many others thoughout the community.
