Angel Flight South Central's (AFSC) mission is to help people who need to travel long distances for medical and humanitarian purposes. Angel Flight arranges travel through a network of volunteer pilots who use their own planes and cover the cost of the flight to help people access specialized medical care.
Since 1991, the AFSC pilots have flown over 38,000 missions and have contributed over $110 million to this effort. Every year, Angel Flight pilots fly thousands of missions making it possible for people to access critical medical care, such as cancer treatment, which would otherwise be unavailable to them. With the support of the community, AFSC and the volunteer pilots will be able to continue providing precious, life-saving flights to those in need within our region.
