Did you know that in Los Angeles County, 58% of foster parents quit after 1 year? The number one reason given on the exit survey is “lack of support”. Here at Antelope Valley Foster Friends, we are boldly attempting to combat this county-wide problem by delivering support and tangible encouragement to the doorsteps of all foster families in the AV. Foster Families need support in order to continue to serve our nation's most at-risk youth and Foster Friends is that local support. All of our programs are aimed at supporting & encouraging foster parents and the children in their homes.
