The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

 The Arbuckle Area Council serves over 1,600 youth in 9 counties in south central Oklahoma.  Our service area includes these counties:  Garvin, Murray, Carter, Love, Marshall, Johnston, Pontotoc, Coal, Atoka and the city of Ringling, Oklahoma.

 The Scouting program affects youth from ages 5 to 21 years.  Scouting activities are aimed at the development of youth in leadership, citizenship, character education, and personal fitness.
