The Arc was founded by a group of concerned parents in 1961.  It has since grown into the largest agency of its kind in its service area, with over 1,000 staff employees, including 127 who reside in Wyoming County. Through its Vocational, Day, Community, Residential, KidStart, and Transportation programs, Arc GLOW enriches the lives of more than 2,000 community members who receive services and supports in Genesee, Livingston, Orleans and Wyoming County.

Arc GLOW is a private, not-for-profit organization providing services to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families in Genesee, Livingston, Orleans and Wyoming Counties. Previously named The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming and the Arc of Genesee Orleans, the merged chapter of Arc GLOW was founded in October of 2021.
