The Arcola Elementary School PTA is a group of parents, teachers, administrators, and community members who work together to make every child's potential a reality at Arcola Elementary. We do this by engaging and empowering families to advocate for all children through our community-focused programming.
Arcola Elementary School in Aldie, VA is planning our Annual Spring Basket Raffle &
Bingo, which will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024. This is our largest and most popular
event of the year. Our goal is to raise enough money to support educational programs
for our students, professional development for our teachers, and fund other school
needs.
In the past, with the help of the community, we have been able to provide PTA
sponsored educational programs and assemblies for the students, support school
enrichment programs such as Science Fair and DARE program, send teachers to
educational development conferences, and build community through family events
such as Pastries with Pals. We hope this year, with your help, we can have just as much
of an impact on our students’ and teachers’ learning as we did in previous years.
Our fundraising goal for this event is $8,000. We can't accomplish this goal without the
support of organizations such as yours. In order to make this event a great success and
raise the money needed, we are asking organizations to please consider donating an
item(s) that can be raffled off during the event. We are expecting to have over 500
people in attendance. We appreciate donations like yours because they help us reach
our fundraising goal which helps our students and teachers!
Donations are tax deductible (Tax ID: 52-1542986) and all names of sponsors will be
highlighted during the event, on our website, on our Facebook page, and advertised
leading up to the event that will be seen by the families of our over 1,000 student
population.
