The Argyle Band Boosters is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization that supports the band program and is always in need of volunteers. Please make sure you've filled out the Volunteer Background Check form!
Band Boosters are comprised of any parent who has a student in the band program, and we are proud to say we have a very high volunteer support group. The Boosters assist the Band by providing financial support for activities, scholarships, and private lessons as well as any projects outside the domain of the school district revenue.
In the past, the Booster Organization has purchased 24' and 36' trailers to transport the marching uniforms and instruments to out-of-town games and contests. In 2008, the Band Boosters purchased a 20' marching director's tower that is used to fine-tune our marching program from a judge's perspective.
In 2019, when the Argyle Middle School Band was invited to Indianapolis, the band boosters were essential in helping cover the cost of the trip for students with financial needs as well as helping to provide food, drinks, snacks, and chaperones to Indianapolis!
The Band Boosters are also in charge of indoor concessions for basketball games, volleyball games, UIL Academic meets, and many other events throughout the year.
In 2024, the high school marching band is attending the Bands of America Grand Nationals Marching Band Contest in Indiana this coming November which is a HUGE DEAL for these kids!! They will be competing with over 100 schools across the US. This is the first time the band will be competing in this event, and the students/parents are excited about this opportunity.
