The Arizona Anti-Trafficking Network is a collaboration of programs fighting the multi-dimensions of Human Trafficking.

Our programs cover a wide spectrum that address community education, public awareness, prevention, demand reduction, male engagement on the issue and the tourism and hospitality sector. It is through these activities that we hope to eliminate Human Trafficking in Arizona by raising awareness, reducing demand and fostering prevention efforts with youth.

Our organization has passionate and committed team members who possess a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring awareness and foster community partnerships in Arizona.

Our Programs:

TRUST – Training and Resources United to Stop Trafficking provides training opportunities, technical assistance, coalition building, public awareness and outreach activities, and a robust website for access to a library of information about human trafficking.  Further, it serves as a liaison with other organizations (and potential future collaborators) around the state.

CSI – Community Schools Initiative addresses prevention and education as essential components to empower and protect Arizona’s most vulnerable youth through an innovative and robust after school program.  The curriculum offers real life examples of success by allowing youth to engage with community members and leaders who can provide mentorship and encouragement to those marginalized by social, economic, or familial hardship.

Just.Men.Arizona – The voices of men in the community need to be raised in unison that the exploitation of women and children (including young males) is not acceptable in our state.  This program encourages men to engage in the fight against the purchase of sex, and have thoughtful and frank conversations with other males, young and old, to challenge the archaic view that domination, exploitation, and control over vulnerable people will no longer be tolerated in Arizona.

SAFE Action Project – Safeguarding All from Exploitation. SAFE focuses on hospitality and transportation companies and brings attention and awareness to employees and staff at local hotels, resorts, restaurants, and businesses that cater to the robust tourism industry in Arizona.  Our partners for this program include the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and Homeland Security.

CEASE-AZ – Cities Empowered Against Sexual Exploitation is focused on the demand for paid sex and works to eradicate sex trafficking in the state of Arizona. By disrupting the business of human trafficking through targeted campaigns aimed directly at sex buyers, we can have a measurable impact in the overall size of the market.  Through awareness, education and tactical law enforcement efforts, we aim to stop buyers from purchasing sex at the point of sale, deter them from future transactions, and change the public's opinions about the harms of prostitution in our community.

THE JADE RICHARD SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Jade Richard Scholarship Fund has been established to honor the legacy of Arizona Survivor Leader Jade Richard who unexpectedly passed earlier this year, only a month after graduating with her bachelor’s degree. This fund will support the education of survivors of human trafficking who are pursuing a higher education, trade school, advanced certificates, or other career readiness programs. Many survivors of human trafficking often do not have education beyond a GED.

Your partnership would help them to begin higher education and/or job-training courses that would help toward self-reliance, becoming economically empowered and obtaining livable employment. The scholarship is designed for those who have experienced the exploitation of human trafficking through the commercial sex industry or through labor trafficking, as defined by the U.S. Federal government*.
