The Arkansas Foodbank is the foundation in the fight against hunger. We find pathways to connect people, resources and food to reach those in need, providing dignity, hope and a brighter future for all Arkansans. We envision a stronger community where hunger needs are met with sufficient access to nutritious food.
In 2021, Arkansas Foodbank distributed 38.5 million pounds of food, including 8.7 million pounds of produce. As the largest hunger relief organization in a state that ranks second in the nation for food insecurity, we are constantly streamlining new processes in the face of multiple unique unique challenges, such as rebuiliding our volunteer base, battling rising food costs, and supply chain issues. We are proud to report that for every dollar donated to Arkansas Foodbank, we are able to provide food for five meals to 280,000+ children, seniors, and families in need.
