Art on The Rapids is a fine arts festival promoting both the visual and performing arts. The event will be focused partly on the visual arts department, consisting of an art gallery and artwork presented from the local community. It will also focus on the performing arts, which will include performances from the band, guitar, choral and theater departments, as well as a stand-up portion for those who chose to orally present their written work. The entrance ticket sales and sales made from the raffle event will go to the performing arts department at James River High School.
