ArtsWestchester was started in 1965 making us the the oldest and largest Art Council in New York State. Our mission is to create an equitable, vibrant and sustainable Westchester County in which the arts are integreal to, and integrated into, every facet of life. The arts are a catalyst for systemic change, economic development and community empowerment. In partnership with Westchester County Government, we have put the arts on the public agenda, investing more than $40 million in the County's arts and culture sector.
