The Ashland Education Foundation is a non-profit all volunteer community-based organization dedicated to providing enhanced educational opportunities for students in the Ashland Public Schools. The Foundation is committed to the belief that excellence in public education is essential to the economic and social health of the community. We believe that public schools can succeed only if they receive broad popular support. Each year we provide funds to the teachers of Ashland for innovative and challenging educational programs. Past AEFI Grants have funded dozens of initiatives, including iPad carts in the elementary schools, interactive SmartBoards, Chromebooks in the Middle School and computers for use in advanced studies in technology at Ashland High School. Most recently, the AEFI funded the Ashland Innovation Center, a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) maker-space and laboratory located at the Ashland High School as well as a STEAM maker-space at the Mindess Elementary School.
AEFI’s Casino Night Benefit at the Warren Conference Center s the primary source of funding for our teacher grant program. A silent auction will be held and we would like to ask you to please consider a donation of a product, service or gift certificate to be used as an auction item at this event. Your tax-deductible contribution and your business will be featured in publicity and the night of the event.
