Our group is tailored for all Nevada Asians and Pacific Islanders. APCA's mission is to increase local, civil, and social awareness of interest to the Asian Pacific communities, to bring together all Asians Pacific communities to discuss, learn, and work together on their community needs and interests. The objective is to make the Asian Pacific Community aware of emerging current, civil, and social issues, build a strong alliance and encourage discussions on what is essential to the community. Asian Pacific Community Awareness provides a valuable framework for increasing a positive community experience that serves the Asian Pacific population in Nevada. APCA is the beginning stage of building a social media platform to distribute notices of state legislation (both pending and proposed) on such issues as taxes, education, healthcare, etc. APCA has established a social media chat group to exchange information by allowing chat group members to send post-APCA mission-related messages, videos, or photos.We are working with the Asian Pacific community by offering citizenship classes. We keep the community informed of immigration, and other subjects to aid the Asian Pacific Community in finding ways of addressing continuing challenges whether in academia, business, industry, or government.
