Since 1899, Association House has worked with Chicagoans who seek tools to lead more productive lives. It is one of the oldest “settlement houses” in Chicago originally designed to provide relief and guidance to new immigrants. Today, Association House is a vital resource to under-served, multicultural communities, providing collaborative programs to promote health and wellness, educational advancement, and economic empowerment for over 5,000 individuals and families we directly serve.
Our communities often experience economic hardships and persistent poverty. With all our programs and services at one location, we offer comprehensive support for those in need. We are a level 1+ options high school, a quality behavioral and mental health center, a child welfare provider, and provide workforce development opportunities so that those who seek to enter the labor force are prepared with a competitive edge.
