September marks the launch of ASU’s 2019 United Way campaign, and we hope that we can continue to collaborate as part of an organized, local effort that yields real and enduring progress in the neighborhoods we call home. This year, the ASU community is stepping up to the challenge and would like you to help us achieve our goal of $800,000. 

As a New American University, we assume fundamental responsibility for the economic, social, cultural and overall health of the communities we serve, and United Way is a key way to honor this commitment. There are many real and complex issues facing our fellow Arizonans, and Valley of the Sun United Way provides help where it is most needed, like helping others: 

• obtain a good education for their children;
• provide a home for their family;
• keep food on the table; and
• experience the security that comes with financial independence.
