Awesome Paws Rescue is an all-breed, foster based dog rescue in the Buffalo, New York area. Our focus is
rescuing shelter dogs at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding. We coordinate and transport dogs from
various southern states, bring them to Buffalo where they stay with a foster family until they are adopted. Awesome Paws Rescue has over 100 volunteers who assist with transport, events planning, community
awareness, and fostering, which allows a shelter dog to get reacquainted to “home life.” Our rescues learn to
live in a home with families where they can receive individual attention where their personalities emerge
and truly shine. Through fostering we can provide a more comfortable and relaxed environment for dogs to
learn to be house broken, new tricks, and be loved again or for the first time in their life. We are officially a 501(c)3 non-profit charity, as such we solely rely on donations to continue our mission. It
is only through the generosity of our supporters that we can provide our dogs with the true love and care
they deserve. Donations allow us to bring adoptable dogs to Buffalo and provide needed medical care. With
no overhead costs or paid members, every penny goes right to dogs in need.
