Each year in Texas, thousands of families will hear the words, “your child has cancer.” By serving as a community partner with Texas Children’s Hospital, MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital, Dell Children’s Medical Center (Austin) and Methodist Children’s Hospital(San Antonio), we are able to provide basic necessities and personalized care for over 100,000 families each year. At Texas Children’s Hospital alone, the largest pediatric cancer and hematology center in the United States, 91,700 patients are seen annually through their outpatient clinic, and over 30,000 are enrolled in their long-term survivorship program. Because families travel thousands of miles to receive care at MD Anderson, one of our Nation’s top two hospitals in cancer care by U.S. News and World Report, B.I.G. Love is afforded the unique opportunity to provide care to an exceptionally diverse patient population and demographics. Since 1944, 1.4 million patients have turned to MD Anderson for cancer care. B.I.G. Love has been honored to serve patients and families at Texas Children’s Hospital, MD Anderson, Dell Children’s Medical Center and Methodist Children’s Hospital and to IMPACT the cancer community in a tangible way!
