Founded in 1939, Bala Cynwyd Middle School is a National Blue Ribbon School within the Lower Merion community and is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when committed teachers, enthusiastic children, involved parents, and a supportive community join forces to create a productive and positive learning environment.
The Bala Cynwyd Home & School Association (HSA) is a volunteer organization that supports teacher classroom grants, student clubs, social events and activities, and staff appreciation activities. The HSA provides a forum for ideas and concerns and informs families of upcoming school and district-wide initiatives.
